Owner- Yoga Instructor
Gladesia Tolbert
With over 20 years of experience as a nurse practitioner, I’ve always been passionate about helping others achieve true wellness. I’ve seen firsthand that
while many people strive to be healthy, they often lack the tools to create lasting balance in their lives. Providing pediatric healthcare to children and teen life
coaching, I developed a deeper empathy and connection to parents who were drowning, trying to pour from an empty cup. As a busy wife and mother of two, I faced the familiar challenge of carving out time to invest in myself. I often felt stretched thin, overwhelmed, and stressed out.
Ten years ago, I stepped on the mat at my first yoga class, and it was clear from that moment that yoga would become a core part of my life. Through yoga and
meditation, I found a profound sense of peace and connection to God that renewed my spirit. With consistent practice, I felt myself growing stronger—physically, mentally, and spiritually. As I grew in my spiritual walk and settled into a deeper place of wellness, I realized my true purpose; to inspire and
support others on their path to be whole.
I began my yoga teacher journey as a kid’s yoga instructor and later became a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). In 2024, I founded House of Gladitude to create a welcoming, inclusive space of refuge where individuals from all walks of life can experience the transformative power of yoga
and holistic wellness.
Today, I practice yoga to cultivate stillness, resilience, and inner peace. I teach yoga to help others connect with their own sources of strength and balance, and
to guide them toward the person they are truly meant to be. My goal is to foster a supportive environment for every student, promoting mental, physical, and
spiritual well-being. At House of Gladitude, students will be equipped and empowered to live healthier, well-balanced lives. You can do yoga! Let’s be well
together.
With Gladitude,
Gladesia

Yoga Instructor
Niccole Kinney
I discovered yoga while trying to discover myself. It has been a 12-year journey that I am so grateful for! Initially I was drawn to yoga to increase flexibility and reduce stress. I soon realized it was much more than movement. Yoga became a practice that not only transformed my body, but nurtured my mind and soul.
I have been practicing yoga for over 12 years and completed my 200hr YTT at Core Balance Yoga Studio in 2020. As a proud Black instructor, I am deeply committed to diversifying the wellness community and ensuring that yoga is accessible to people of all backgrounds. I strive to cultivate a practice that emphasizes balance, strength, healing and self-love.
Outside of the studio, I am a mom to two grown sons and Nene to 3 beautiful grandchildren. I have been a nurse for over 27 years and currently work in Nursing Leadership. I love traveling as often as I can. The beach is my happy place! I look forward to meeting everyone and I can’t wait to see you on your mat!

Yoga Instructor
Justin Robinson
Justin Robinson focuses his teachings on helping people find rest, renewal, and reconnection in mind, body, and spirit through movement and meditation. After beginning his own practice in 2021, Justin quickly discovered how deeply movement and meditation support healing from the inside out. Inspired to share this gift, he earned his 200-hour certification in April 2025 and now focuses on restorative practices that create space for students to breathe, release, and restore.
With a background in communications, coaching, teaching, and community leadership, Justin brings a unique voice to his classes. His years as a coach and high school teacher sharpened his ability to motivate, guide, and meet people where they are —skills that translate seamlessly into creating supportive and educational spaces. His teaching integrates thoughtful sequencing, calming language, and reflective themes that meet students where they are. Through his Pick Up Your Matplatform, Justin expands his mission beyond the studio, creating content and resources that invite people to carry the lessons of movement and meditation into daily life.
Grounded in compassion and purpose, Justin’s approach encourages students to discover that growth comes through calming the mind, being present in the body, and listening to the spirit.

Yoga Instructor
Kristina Guarino
I’m a wife and mom of three children and we enjoy spending time with our animals outside. I’m a licensed clinical social worker and have worked in the field for the past 18 years.
I was introduced to yoga after high school about 25 years ago and fell in love with the way it made me feel emotionally, physically and spiritually. I obtained my Level 1 yoga certification about 12 years ago to help individuals who I was working with on an individual and group level to teach my clients an additional coping skill. I then received my Trauma-Informed Yoga for Youth certification four years ago to get a better understanding of how to teach yoga to my youth clients who have experienced trauma.
I completed my 200-hr yoga certification at Megan’s Yoga Tribe. I look forward to being able to continue to teach yoga with a higher level of knowledge and experience. I believe that yoga is the best prescription to the path of healing and my dream is to continue to pass this on to as many individuals as possible

Yoga Instructor
Bernadette Lawson
Yoga has been an integral part of Bernadette’s life for more than 20 years. What started as an intentional journey to help process the emotions and feelings experienced after the loss of her mother, quickly became something much more – a way to connect, to be free, and to breathe through the “feedback” that life offers. Bernadette leads with positivity. The joy yoga brings to her life through meaningful connections and experiences is why she teaches – she believes everyone should feel such joy!
Bernadette welcomes every body to experience the gift of yoga. She believes it is on the mat where you connect with your breath, explore movement, and let go of that which no longer serves you. With a self-care mindset, her classes promote relaxation
and inner peace through breathing, calming the mind, and moving with intention, with a focus on the whole you – the mind, the body, and the spirit.
Bernadette and her husband Stephen have two sons, three adorable grandsons, and the sweetest pup, Ichabod. They enjoy boating, traveling, and connecting with family and friends.
